Elementary
In a fifth-grade language arts literature unit, the PLAN includes the
following time allocation for segments within a lecture/discussion about
the elements of literature:
- ten minutes for the concept of
character
- fifteen minutes for the concept of
plot
- five minutes for the concept of
setting
Secondary
In an intermediate, ninth-grade physical education class aerobics unit,
the PLAN includes the following time allocation:
- five minutes stretching
- five minutes warming up
- forty minutes doing aerobics
- five minutes participating in
cool-down exercises
