Elementary

  2. planning essays using main topic, sub-topic, and supporting details that support the position statement
  3. writing topic sentences
  4. writing introductory paragraphs
  5. using transitions
  6. writing supporting paragraphs
  7. writing concluding paragraphs

Secondary
In a seventh-grade geometry unit, the PLAN includes the following knowledge structure/learning sequence for identifying and drawing shapes:

  1. points
  2. lines
  3. rays
  4. angles
  5. two-dimensional shapes
